International Internship with the VSIP [unpaid]
🌟 Research Internship: In collaboration with TIET & University of Queensland (UoQ) 🌟

Internship Details

📅 Duration: 4-12 weeks
🌍 Location: University of Queensland, Brisbane, Australia
🎯Focus: Work on cutting-edge technology related to Deepfakes
🛠 Work: Contribute to a Proof of Concept (POC), developed under a research project at VSIP Lab, TIET
⏰Start Time: Summer of 2026 [July-August 2025]
Qualification Requirements: Second-year Under Graduate students from CSE / COE (Minimum CGPA: 8.0)
Role & Responsibilities

Conduct research on the task assigned by the mentor of the VSIP group and demonstrate the POC to the team at UoQ.

Collaborate with industry partners (in Brisbane, Australia) to explore funding opportunities for the POC with help of the guidance and support from experts at UoQ.

Project Title: Deepfake Detection and Explainability in Social Media Video Content
(Under the umbrella of CoDSaI, Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology (TIET), Patiala)
